Coffin Coin Bank

A small zombie hand sneaks out of a coffin to steal your coin when you turn the hand crank.

Everyone that sees this in person LOVES it.

I’ll be making a limited amount of these as they take quite some time to make.  I’ve designed in a few hidden features to make it work reliably (including a tiny ratchet that works with gravity to prevent the crank from being turned the wrong way and jamming up the mechanism.  I’ll try to add more photos and a video here as soon as I can.  I thought I’d get it listed ASAP since Halloween is fast approaching and I thought this would make an excellent decoration and conversation piece.  I am only making a limited number of this in the next 2-3 weeks.  I will add them to my shop as they are finished.

I worked on this design for a couple of months to refine it to what you see here.  It’s a completely original design of my own and includes my logo and the year on the back.  It works with most coin sizes (including thin & tiny US dimes).  They are stained with a water based stain and then finished with a food & skin safe natural linseed oil.  The tiny hand it painted with water based acrylic paint and also finished with a coat of linseed oil.
