Robot Enlightenment
What started as a challenge to help me overcome some difficult times turned into a series about a little robot trying to find enlightenment.Ā I didn’t know it at the time, but looking back now, I see that the little robot was a reflection of my own search for meaning.
There’s a little hand cranked wooden robot for every letter of the alphabet.

There's something about the way that wood has a flow to it that really appeals to me. The wood has a natural color and grain direction that add so much to the pieces I create. Wood forces me to follow it's lead and often that leads to something better than I originally planned.
