Cute little robot petting a little cat.

Part of my Robot Enlightenment series of automata (a series of 26 named automata about a tiny robot trying to find happiness). This one is called “Kindness”.

Made of solid cedar, maple, walnut and other hardwood mechanical components with spring music wire. Finished in natural (skin & food safe) linseed oil.

The one pictured is an average sample. I make 3-6 of each design at a time. When possible I try to include a group picture to give you some idea of what they all look like. There are variations in the wood grain and color, and slight variations in the movement as each one is a handmade original.

These are heirloom quality art pieces that are not suitable for infants or toddlers because of the small parts that could be a choking hazard (and a potentially sharp metal components).
